The small print.

1. What Cabinet Portraits is

Cabinet Portraits (“we”, “us”) is an editorial-quality AI portrait service for professionals — primarily lawyers, financial advisors, and other client-facing roles. You upload selfies; we generate a per-shoot model of your face and produce studio-grade portraits intended for partner pages, Bar profiles, CFP profiles, LinkedIn, and similar professional use.

By using Cabinet Portraits you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and the person actually pictured in the selfies you upload. You may not upload photos of other people without their explicit consent.

3. Your content, your rights

You keep ownership of the selfies you upload and the portraits we generate for you. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use your uploads solely to run the pipeline, deliver your output, and maintain your account.

Your face is never used to teach a general-purpose AI model. Your uploads are used only to build the per-shoot identity model and score portraits against it. They are not used as training data for any general-purpose model.

4. What you can't do with the output

• Impersonate another real person, or pose as someone you're not
• Use the portraits in a way that would be defamatory, harassing, or otherwise illegal
• Use the portraits to imply a credential, license, or affiliation you don't actually hold
• Resell or redistribute the portraits as stock imagery

5. Pricing & payment

Prices are shown in USD and billed via Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy issues a tax-compliant invoice your firm's A/P team can process directly.

14-day satisfaction window.If you're not happy with your portraits, email hello@cabinetportraits.com within 14 days for a free reshoot or full refund. Portraits stay yours — we don't ask for them back. No partial-refund tiers, no “downloaded equals no refund” conditions, no fine print.

6. Service availability

We aim for continuous availability but don't guarantee it. Generation typically takes 5–15 minutes; occasional delays happen. If a shoot cannot be completed after multiple retries we will automatically refund you.

7. Biometric data — written consent

The selfies you upload contain your facial geometry. Under certain U.S. state laws — including the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act (CUBI), and the Washington Biometric Privacy Act — facial geometry is regulated biometric information.

By checking the consent box at upload time, you authorize Cabinet Portraits to: (a) collect, store, and process your facial geometry solely to build the per-shoot identity model and score generated portraits against it; (b) share that data only with the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy §4; and (c) retain it for no longer than 30 days after your most recent purchase, after which it is permanently deleted.

You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@cabinetportraits.com; we will delete your biometric data within 14 days. Withdrawal does not affect any portraits already delivered to your account.

8. Data retention

See the Privacy Policy. Selfies and intermediate face-model data are deleted 30 days after your most recent purchase. Delivered portraits are kept until you request deletion. You can request deletion of everything at any time by emailing us at hello@cabinetportraits.com.

9. Warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is.” We don't guarantee that generated portraits will match every preference. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Cabinet Portraits is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; if we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, email registered users.
